1Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Orbook, including every member of an organization and anyone acting for a client. Breaking it breaks the Terms of Service.

2Market abuse

Don't use Orbook to:

  • trade with yourself or between wallets you control to fake volume or price (wash trading) where that is prohibited;
  • pump a price with misleading promotion and sell into the buyers you attracted;
  • spoof or layer orders, or coordinate trades with others to mislead the market;
  • trade on confidential information you hold about a token or its team.

3Deceptive launches

  • No rug pulls: don't launch a token intending to drain its liquidity or abandon its buyers.
  • Don't hide the team's supply, taxes, or control of the contract from buyers when you claim otherwise.
  • Don't copy another project's name, logo or ticker to pass your token off as theirs.

4Sanctions and illegal activity

  • Don't use Orbook from a restricted place or for anyone on a sanctions list.
  • Don't launder money, finance terrorism, or move proceeds of crime, including through privacy funding.
  • Don't launch tokens tied to illegal goods, services, gambling where it's unlicensed, or securities offered without the required approvals.

5Misusing the service

  • Don't try to get around role permissions, rate limits, fees or the audit log.
  • Don't probe, scan or attack Orbook outside the rules in our Security page.
  • Don't share accounts, or resell access to Orbook without our written agreement.
  • Don't send spam or abusive messages through invitations, notes or the Client Portal.

6What we do about it

We may warn you, limit features, stop strategies, suspend or close the account or organization, and report to authorities where the law requires it. Where we can, we'll give you a chance to explain first.

To report abuse, write to [abuse@ email] with the token, wallet addresses or transaction hashes involved.
